Richard Cotton

RADA-trained, with acting credits including The Office, Love Actually and the Libertine, Richard has been quietly working at the top of the UK voice industry for the last 15 years – the voice you didn’t know you knew. Commercials clients include Bosch, Prime Location, Body Shop, Cineworld, Save the Children and Macmillan Cancer Support. Richard has narrated countless documentaries, including Discovery Channel’s most watched documentary strand, Unearthed, since 2016. He is a go-to dubbing artist for Amazon and Netflix, most recently the title role in Il Gattopardo (The Leopard) for Netflix. Richard has voiced two audiobooks on Audible so far in 2025, Double Room by Anne Sénès and A Mother’s Last Wish, by Jo Bartlett. He regularly provides characters for major video games, most recently Kith’rak Voss in the multi-award-winning Baldur’s Gate and Snagla Grobspit in Total War: Warhammer III. Richard played the evil Shadow in the animated feature film Ploey and multiple characters in Quentin Blake’s Mrs Armitage on Wheels. Richard is also a scriptwriter, producer and director.
