Ginnia is a writer, presenter, and comedian on a mission to tell stories from underrepresented perspectives.  Though she’s very early in her stand-up journey, she’s already reached the semi-finals of the UK’s largest competitions for her punchy observational comedy, including being shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award 2021, as well as having been selected by the BBC Writersroom for a programme showcasing the UK’s East Asian comedy talent.  In 2020, Ginnia took Raindance’s Documentary Filmmaking Foundation course and most recently, she won Louis Theroux and Amazon Studios’ “Looking For Louis” competition.

She founded and co-hosts London’s top-rated sex-positive comedy night, which is regularly featured in TimeOut’s top 3 things to do in London. She also writes articles commenting on complex societal issues such as racism and mental health, and can often be seen in the media discussing such topics.
