Officially dubbed the ‘Coolest Man on TV’, it’s hard to know where to begin with someone like David.  Aside from his role as the tenth Doctor in cult classic Doctor Who, David is perhaps best known for his role as DI Alec Hardy in ITV’s award winning drama Broadchurch, or for his portrayal of the eponymous Casanova.  However, his other television credits include Netflix series Criminal and Jessica Jones, alongside The Politician’s Husband, United, Good Omens and Deadwater Fell and that’s barely scratched the surface! David is also renowned for his theatrical endeavours, joining the RSC in 2008 to play Hamlet and going on to land the title role in Richard IIAlongside guest appearances on The Katherine Tate Show and Extras, David is responsible for narrating BBC comedies Twenty Twelve and W1A, as well as voicing the character of Scrooge McDuck in DuckTales.  David made lockdown noticeably more bearable with his comedy series Staged for which he scooped up a TV BAFTA – and in the same year, for his portrayal of serial killer Dennis Nilsen in Des. Mighty impressive!
