A veteran of stage and screen, Anne Reid can most recently be seen in the upcoming factual drama The Sixth Commandment for BBC One. Her other TV credits include ITV’s Sanditon, Russell T Davies’ Years and Years for BBC/HBO as well as BBC’s Hold the Sunset. On film, Anne’s credits include SAS: Red Notice, Aeronauts and The Nest. In 2003 she starred in Roger Michell’s The Mother, which earned her various accolades including London Critics Circle’s ‘British Actress of the Year’ as well as BAFTA, BIFA and European Film Awards nominations.
