Tony Pitts

Tony Pitts is an established actor, with an impressive body of work behind him. Born in Sheffield, Tony’s breakout role came in long-running British soap opera, Emmerdale, in which he portrayed the character of Archie Brooks for an impressive ten year stint (1983-1993). In 2013, he was lauded for his performance as Sergeant Moss in BBC drama series Peaky Blinders. Tony has had guest appearances on several other notable television shows such as Eastenders (1996), Unforgiven (2009), Line of Duty (2014), Jamestown (2017) and Wild Bill (2019).

Tony took on the role of Richie in Paddy Considine’s Journeyman (2018), nominated for Best British Film at the National Film Awards that same year. He also starred opposite Maxine Peake in Adrian Shergold’s comedy drama film Funny Cow (2017), and portrayed the role of Captain Pterro in Gareth Edwards’ 2016 space opera film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
