Rising to prominence as Tommy in Guy Ritchie’s crime comedy Snatch, Stephen has continued to engage audiences with his explosive energy and emotional range. His big break came as Combo Gascoigne in The Is England and he received a BAFTA nomination when he revived the role in 2015. Stephen has also had stand out roles as Al Capone in Boardwalk Empire, John Corbett in Line of Duty and Shay Ryan in The Street. In 2019 Stephen acted alongside Robert De Niro and Al Pacino in Martin Scorsese’s gangster epic The Irishman and since then has had viewers hooked as DCI Taff Jones in White House Farm. Most recently, Stephen appeared in the heartbreaking ITV drama Help.
