Undoubtedly one of television’s most recognisable actresses, Sarah is perhaps best known for her riveting performances in the likes of Happy Valley and Last Tango in Halifax. During lockdown, Sarah starred as Gwen Fedder in the third instalment of Alan Bennett’s Talking Heads and is set to feature in the upcoming film Everybody’s Talking About Jamie. Given her enviable CV, it’s unsurprising that, alongside her two BAFTAs, Sarah was awarded a well deserved OBE back in 2017.
