Having made a name for himself as PC Cliver Gardner in BBC crime drama City Central, Martin has gone on to star in a number of television series including Emmerdale, Last Rights and Heartbeat. Since then, Martin has landed recurring roles on Coronation Street and Bulletproof, as well as featuring in Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey and Vera. Martin has also toured with the stage production of Billy Elliot and has acted in A View from the Bridge and Hobson’s Choice. Most recently, Martin appeared in Casualty.
