Sir Ian McKellen is amongst the most accomplished actors ever with a career spanning 6 incredible decades. He is highly decorated, having garnered 7 Laurence Olivier Awards, a Tony Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe. Ian is a stage powerhouse having performed across the globe in literally countless roles – from Shakespearean to post-modern. Onscreen, he is synonymous with beloved characters including, most famously, Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings franchise and Magneto in X-Men. His voice has featured in numerous projects, having narrated the feature film Stardust and voiced characters in Flushed Away, The Golden Compass and recently Beauty & the Beast.
