Born in Cairo and raised in London, Amir gained industry recognition at the ripe old age of eighteen when he won Best Young Actor at the Egyptian Oscars. Since then, he’s gone from strength to strength, landing roles in the likes of The Night Manager, The State and Woody Harrelson’s live-action feature Lost in London. Amir appeared in Industry, as well as in feature film Limbo for which he’s been named a BAFTA Rising Star and nominated for a Scottish BAFTA. Most recently, he played Ben Naser in the TV series The One.
