Hugh has been a regular fixture of our television screens since he played Tommy Meadowes in the BBC series Tycoon back in 1978, and has gone on to secure leading roles in ITV’s The Advocates, BBC Scotland’s Snoddy and ITV’s The PalaceOver the years, Hugh has also lent his Scottish charm to the likes of Poirot, Absolutely Fabulous and the Sharpe trilogy and has featured equally prominently on the silver screen.  His film credits include Trainspotting, The Iron Lady andDorian Gray.  Hugh secured another stellar role as Arch Bug in hit television show Outlander
