Christopher Eccleston is undoubtedly best known for playing Doctor Who in 2005. However, Christopher has had huge success outside the Tardis, with major roles in films such as Let Him Have It and Shallow Grave. Christopher has further television credits including Our Friends in the North for which he received a BAFTA nomination and The Shallow Line. Most recently, Christopher has starred in BBC One’s critically acclaimed drama The A Word as well as the TV mini series Close to Me. He also performed the title role in the RSC’s production of Macbeth.
