Andi Oliver

Engaging, animated and expressive, with a commanding clarity and gravelly undertones.

Andi’s many and varied talents have repeatedly proven to be a recipe for success. Having made a name for herself on Backstage at the BRITs, Andi has gone on to win a Silver Sony Award whilst presenting The Selector, host the BBC’s Glastonbury coverage for six years, and in 2019 she anchored BBC Four’s landmark Jazz 625 Live.

If that wasn’t enough, you can regularly hear her culinary wisdom on BBC Radio 4 in both The Kitchen Cabinet and their award-winning The Food Programme. Andi is also known for hosting Channel 4’s Beat the Chef and Food Unwrapped, as well as serving up a storm on Saturday Kitchen, where she is a contributing chef. Foodies will be pleased to know that, after being a regular judge on BBC Two’s The Great British Menu, Andi will now be at the helm, presenting the show from 2020 onwards. Offscreen, Andi has opened her own restaurant Andi’s and started Wadadli Kitchen, in a bid to bring real Caribbean home cooking to the masses. Yummy!

Outside of the kitchen, Andi has landed acting roles in The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency, Caitlin Morgan’s How To Build a Girl and currently hosts Sky Arts Live Book Club. We can barely keep up!
